However, we arrived very early and not everything on the menu was available. Service was very standoff-ish and it took us forever to get the check even though we were the only ones there. The waitress was chatting the whole time and could not see us trying to get the check to be on our way. Then another waitress spotted us and came to the aid.
The place also felt a bit dirty, dusty on the wood panels on the wall, had a squashed bug on the menu (which I understand might not be their fault but still). Hot drinks and cookies were very average. I was hoping for a fresh Stroopwafel but got a re-heated old one sadly.
Overall a place that looks good but a very disappointing experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in for warmecocomelk earlier in the day. Good chocolate milk and not from power. They come to the table and bring a selection of mini chocolate wafers. Everything from white to dark to extra dark.
So we came back for a midday snack. Got chai tea latte, yum, and a tea. Again, selection of tea bags brought to table. Got 2 broodjekrokt. Salad served with the croquets was good on its own and croquets were great.
In both cases the prices were very good and staff were very friendly.
Off the main square, which is where I usually find the better shops. Worth a visit.
