★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De Mierenroute in het Sleenerzand is een erg fijne route. Onderweg wordt duidelijk aangegeven waar je langs moet en kom je een aantal bankjes tegen om even uit te rusten. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug!
The Ant Route in the Sleenerzand is a very nice route. Along the way it is clearly indicated where you have to pass and you will come across a number of benches to take a rest. We will definitely come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prachtig bos,met monumenten van de oorlog.Wij hebben de oranje route gelopen,je loopt door het bos met naaldbomen en loofbomen en zo ineens loop je langs heide,erg mooi.Wel goed opletten op de borden.

Nice walking area for owner and dog, dogs are allowed to run loose almost everywhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Een heerlijk rustig, uitgebreid wandelgebied waar je uren kunt doorbrengen zonder veel mensen tegen te komen. Mooie vergezichten, zeker als de heide in bloei staat is het hier prachtig - maar ook buiten het seizoen is het hier schitterend om rond te wandelen.
Paden zijn goed aangelegd en onderhouden, en voorzien van routes die zijn aangeduid met behulp van bordjes en in kleur geschilderde paaltjes die aangeven waar je naartoe moet.
A wonderfully quiet, extensive walking area where you can spend hours without seeing many people. Beautiful views, especially when the heather is in bloom it is lovely here - but out of season it is wonderful to walk around.
Paths are well laid out and maintained, and include routes marked by signs and color painted poles that indicate where to go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Een prachtig gebied om te fietsen. Start in Sleen en via lange fietspaden door het bos naar De Kiel. De conditie van het asfalt van de paden is matig, dat is jammer. Onderweg ga je met een bochtje om het galgenbergje heen, een van de vele grafheuvels in dit gebied. Er is ook een hunebed en er zijn runderen en diverse beelden langs deze route.
A beautiful area for cycling. Start in Sleen and via long cycle paths through the forest to De Kiel. The condition of the asphalt of the paths is poor, which is a pity. Along the way, you take a turn around the gallows mountain, one of the many burial mounds in this area. There is also a hunebed and there are cattle and various statues along this route.
