Dit is lastig bij veel wind en stroming. Voor herhaling vatbaar. Nice to do. Sailing with an electric boat. Start and stop via smartphone. Employee was helpful in reverse parking. This is difficult with a lot of wind and current. Worth repeating.
E	Esther Schoon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Slecht verhuur bedrijf. Een sloep gehuurd en de bak in het midden van de boot was ondeugdelijk. Scharnieren van de deksel stuk, rubberen afdekranden ontbraken. Bij het leunen op de deksel storte deze in de bak. Vervolgens flinke schaafwonden, dikke elleboog en last van de schouder. Na melding hiervan via de mail, telefonisch niet bereikbaar, 1 telefoontje gehad dat ze het gingen uitzoeken en er zou nog contact worden opgenomen. Inmiddels 3 dagen later nog steeds niets vernomen. Bad rental company. Rented a sloop and the barge in the middle of the boat was faulty. Hinges of the lid broken, rubber edges were missing. When leaning on the lid, it collapsed into the tray. Then serious abrasions, thick elbow and shoulder pain. After reporting this by e-mail, not reachable by phone, had 1 phone call that they were going to look into it and they would still be contacted. 3 days later still haven't heard anything.

Gisteren een bootje voor vandaag gehuurd en ben vanmorgen door happy whale gebeld, dat een boot defect is en mijn reservering geannuleerd word. Bij de vraag wat met de boten is, die tegenover op de trailer staan, geen goede antwoord gekregen. Eerste en laatste keer bij deze bedrijf gehuurd. Bad rental company! Yesterday I rented a boat for today and I called this morning by happy whale, that a boat is broken and my reservation is canceled. When asked what about the boats, which are opposite on the trailer, no good answer. First and last time rented from this company.

Aangekomen bij de kade wordt gevraagd op de link in de verzonden sms te klikken, vervolgens gaat de vaartijd al in maar moet je de boot nog zelf losmaken en bezien hoe je er mee weg komt. Voor ervaren vaarders geen probleem maar voor onervaren mensen zal dit niet fijn zijn. Naast missende instructies over het varen is er geen duidelijke route. Het is dus maar wat proberen en hopen dat je op tijd terug bent. Wij zouden aanbevelen om te kijken naar bootverhuur binnenstad Sneek. In Offingawier is weinig te beleven en te zien op het water en de service laat te wensen over. We did not recommend this. There was no staff to help. Arriving at the quay, you are asked to click on the link in the sent text message, then the sailing time starts already but you still have to unhook the boat yourself and see how you get away with it. No problem for experienced paddlers but for inexperienced people this will not be nice. Besides missing instructions about sailing, there is no clear route. So it's just a matter of trying and hoping you'll be back in time. We would recommend looking at boat rental downtown Sneek. In Offingawier there is little to do and see on the water and the service leaves much to be desired.

Door onze ervaring zijn we hier achtergekomen en hebben de boot na een stukje varen retour gebracht en dit gemeld. We hebben toen besloten om een valk te huren in plaats van de sloep, er was immers niets anders vrij. Valk was in orde. In overleg zijn we akkoord gegaan met 50% van de huursom, wat € 15 hoger is dan een hele dag huur voor de Valk. Maar het is tenslotte vakantie, we hebben fijn gevaren en de kinderen hebben honger. Ok. Het teveel betaalde geld zou retour komen met de borg. Borg wel ontvangen, de € 120,- wachten we nog op, ondanks dat ik nog navraag heb gedaan. Regel je zaakjes, wel hoge borg en vooruitbetaling vragen en dan niet de zaken netjes afhandelen. Het jonge personeel laten werken en zelf de kantjes eraf lopen, foei! We then decided to rent a falcon instead of the sloop, because there was nothing else available. Falcon was okay. In consultation we have agreed to 50% of the rent, which is € 15 higher than a full day's rent for De Valk. But after all, it's a holiday, we had a nice sail and the children are hungry. OK. The overpaid money would be returned with the deposit. Deposit received, we are still waiting for the € 120, despite the fact that I have made further inquiries. Arrange your affairs, but ask a high deposit and advance payment and then do not handle things properly. Let the young staff work and cut corners themselves, phew!
M	Mieke U on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leuke bootjes maar accu was al grotendeels leeg waardoor wij niet op volle snelheid konden varen. Bij terugkomst na 3 uren op halve snelheid te hebben gevaren was er nog 0,1 uur over. Bij navraag bleek de boot die dag al eerder verhuurd geweest te zijn. Maar hij lag niet aan de lader.. Na telefonisch overleg hoefden we het uur extra dat we nodig hadden om terug te komen, niet te betalen. Maar het is wel gevaarlijk om mensen met half lege accu's weg te sturen. Verder leuk en net bootje. Voor herhaling vatbaar (met volle accu :)) Nice boats but battery was already largely empty so we could not sail at full speed. On return after sailing at half speed for 3 hours, there was still 0.1 hour left. Upon inquiry, it turned out that the boat had already been rented out that day. But it wasn't on the charger. After telephone consultation, we did not have to pay the extra hour we needed to come back. But it is dangerous to send people away with half empty batteries. Also nice and neat boat. Worth repeating (with full battery :))

Toen we vervolgens waren geïnstalleerd in de boot op start gedrukt en toen konden we gaan en ging de tijd pas lopen. Ideaal systeem! De boten zouden iets beter voorbereid klaar kunnen staan (kussens erin, hoes eraf) maar dat is een kleinigheidje. Verder zijn ze heerlijk stil. Bankjes wat smal, maar heerlijk gevaren. En ja, het is geen motorboot, dus je hebt wat minder vermogen. Omdat de sloep iets langzamer ging dan gedacht, konden we het rondje niet op tijd afmaken. Daarom een uurtje erbij aangeplakt (online) waar een half uur nodig was. Tot slot; perfecte service wat betreft de kortingscode. Deze vergeten in te vullen. Meteen gebeld en het wordt alsnog verrekend met de borg. Chapeau! Had a wonderful day on the water. Clicked on the link from the SMS on arrival. M	Max K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De informatie op de site klopt dus helemaal niet. Wij hadden gehuurd een Pura Vida. Volgens de site geschikt voor 6 personen en in werkelijkheid voor 5 personen. Volgens de site een maximale snelheid van 10 km/uur maar in werkelijkheid hebben we de 6 km/uur nooit gehaald. Dus de geplande route aanzienlijk moeten inkorten, iedere boot haalde ons in. Op de foto hele mooie kussens maar in werkelijkheid zijn de zitbankjes veel smaller zodat maar de helft van de kussens effectief steun geeft, dus beroerd zitten. Verder via de mail geen instructie hoe je de boot in beweging krijgt. En ook niet hoe je je weer afmeld zodat als je niet gewaarschuwd wordt, de tijd gewoon doorloopt die vervolgens ingehouden wordt op de borg. Dit alles natuurlijk niet veroorzaakt door het plaatselijk personeel dat vriendelijk genoeg is, maar door de organisatie daarachter. Opmerkelijk is ook de oproep achter af: als je tevreden bent de vraag of je dat via Google kenbaar wilt maken, als je klachten hebt of je dat op een apart email adres wil melden.
