★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De medewerkers laten zichzelf de telefoon dichtdoen als ze geen zin hebben om je te helpen. Een meisje hing twee keer op toen ik in het Engels probeerde te praten. Een jongen vertelde me dat hij met een collega zou praten en kwam nooit meer terug aan de telefoon. Ik wachtte 10 minuten. Dit is een veelgebruikte truc om de tijd te laten verstrijken in callcenters. Niet cool als je een belangrijke baan voor de overheid hebt.
The staff will let themselves close the phone if they don't feel like helping you. A girl hung up twice when I tried to speak in English. One guy told me he was going to talk to a colleague and never came back on the phone. I waited 10 minutes. This is a common trick to pass the time in call centers. Not cool if you have an important government job.
