Academic activities, research and teaching

Januari 2020 - present: Teacher at Iarts Maastricht; "Articulating Body Awareness" at interdisciplinary arts bachelor program

2018 - present: Combined PhD position at Lectoraat AOK (Research Centre for Arts, Autonomy and the Public Sphere) with Ruth Benschop and UvA (University of Amsterdam) with Annemarie Mol. 

2018 - present: Teacher at Master in Theater Maastricht: mentor of artistic research  

2017 - present: workshops and trainings in movement and body awareness at schools and universities (University of Amsterdam, Theater Academy Maastricht, Maastricht Institute of Arts) and other academic venues (conferences, seminars etc). 

2017 - present: Organisation of the monthly “Walking Seminars” of the UvA anthropology department.

2011 - present: Work experience in a range of movement techniques: Yoga, Pilates, Somatic Movement, massage, Shiatsu and body-mind coaching.

2013: Development of “Social Movement”; education and coaching conjoining social science and movement practices. Based on qualitative inquiries into specific groups and/or contexts ‘movement interventions’ are designed that create (body) awareness in order to professionalise their respective practices (arts, business, education, care and more; for a portfolio see website).

2005 - 2010: Projects in art education, among which in Guatemala and South Africa and Suriname (Kweekschool Paramaribo) for Zuyd Hogeschool
