Wij hebben in september 2021 een Sony TV gekocht.
Vrijwel direct waren er problemen met blokjesbeeld.
Lang aan het lijntje gehouden, eerste oplossing was een update, 2e oplossing was een nieuw moederbord. Na lang aandringen is de TV gecrediteerd en heb ik een vervangend toestel kunnen bestellen (zonder kosten) bij de leverancier. Uiteraard is dat GEEN Sony meer geworden. Er wordt door de klantenservice tegen je gelogen, er wordt niet teruggebeld en gedane afspraken worden niet nagekomen. Ik wacht nog op teruggave van gemaakte kosten, maar dat zal ook wel weer een gevecht worden.
The customer service and complaints department is a disaster.
We bought a Sony TV in September 2021.
Almost immediately there were problems with the block image.
Kept on the line for a long time, first solution was an update, second solution was a new motherboard. After much insistence, the TV was credited and I was able to order a replacement device (at no cost) from the supplier. Of course that has NOT become Sony anymore. Customer service will lie to you, will not call you back and agreements made will not be fulfilled. I'm still waiting for a refund of costs incurred, but that will also be a struggle.

β β β β β I bought a Sony Bravia LED TV (KD-55x8005C) in 2016. TV fails after 4,5 years. Backlights are failing. After contacting Sony they hide behind factory warranty and presumably find it normal that such expensive devices fail after only 4,5 years. According to their service partner the TV cannot be repaired and has to be replaced. They offered me a replacement through a service partner, but I basically had to pay for it myself. Furthermore they tried to put pressure on the offer by stating I had to decide within 24 hrs.
There was a time when Sony stood for quility equipment. That time has come and gone. Very disappointing.
