β β β β β Leuk om te zien dat maar weer eens alleen slechte ervaringen opgeschreven worden, maar dat het meeste bij SRAM voorbeeldig opgelost wordt, dat is dan maar vanzelfsprekend en wordt niet vermeld.
Ik vindt dat de meeste fabriekanten aan SRAM een voorbeeld kunnen nemen, want zij lossen het grootste deel snel en ongecompliceerd op. moest dit even kwijt.
Nice to see that once again only bad experiences are written down, but that most of SRAM is solved in an exemplary way, that is only self-evident and is not mentioned.
I think most SRAM manufacturers can take an example as they fix most of it quickly and easily. had to say this.

β β β β β Stam SO 11 speed op E- mountanbike. Ketting loopt mee met aandrijftandwiel 14 tands. Dit vooral in de herfst , combinatie blad., naalden en modder. Wat een ellende en Sram Europa biedt geen enkele ondersteuning.
Stam SO 11 speed on E-mount bike. Chain runs with 14-tooth drive sprocket. Especially in autumn, combination of leaves, needles and mud. What a misery and Sram Europe does not offer any support.

β β β β β Simple questions (I needed the flange hight of a hub) are not answered because "you are not a dealer". So I now have to call a dealer, who calls Sram, who calls me to get the answer. Why easy if there's a complicated way of doing things?

β β β β β They don't support products that are not in production rendering a very expensive bike useless, with no alternative suggestion as to how to fix their product other than suggest I should try to find a specialist shop is insulting. I would avoid anything with SRAM components.

β β β β β Still use Dot fluid in their Hydraulic Systems and awful to work with as it's a corrosive.
Alloys used on sram parts seem to wear out quicker than most other brands. Seem 'soft'.
Gripshift was their best invention years ago and now Γtape wireless gears are a good idea.
Still too technical generally, pitch with lack over derailleur cross compatibility is a no go for me and 'soft alloy' makes me go for Shimano over the 2 still.
Expensive and doesn't last.
