★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mooie monumentale kerk uit 1916 en herkenningspunt op het Emmaplein in Maastricht. Vanaf verschillende plekken rondom te bewonderen, oa. vanuit een wandeling door de naastgelegen Kazematten. Ook zeker een aanrader om te bezoeken. Helaas ben ik nooit binnen in de kerk geweest.
Beautiful monumental church from 1916 and landmark on the Emmaplein in Maastricht. From various places to admire around, among others. from a walk through the neighboring Casemates. Also definitely recommended to visit. Unfortunately I have never been to church.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Kirche sieht prächtig aus. Leider kommt man nicht hinein. Es war einmal eine Katholische Kirche aber jetzt ist sie in Privatbesitz. In der Kirche befinden sich zwei Wohneinheiten und kurioserweise ein Labor, siehe Fotos, auf dem Klingelschild steht irgendetwas von Synapsen By. Vielleicht weiß ja irgendein Local Guide mehr und kann etwas posten.
Schade das hier historische Zeugnisse und Kultur verloren geht.
The church looks gorgeous. Unfortunately you cannot get in. Once there was a Catholic church but now it is privately owned. There are two residential units in the church and curiously a laboratory, see photos, there is something from Synapsen By on the doorbell. Maybe some local guide knows more and can post something.
Too bad that historical evidence and culture is lost here.
