Een aanrader om bij een bezoekje aan Sittard deze kerk zeker niet over te slaan en zeker ook van binnen te bezoeken. Very beautiful church with a special past. Visited this church during a tour of Sittard. It was very impressive both inside and out. A must to visit this church when visiting Sittard and definitely not to miss this inside.

In der heutigen Form wurde die Kirche größtenteils sie zwischen Ende des 14. bis Mitte des 16. Jahrhunderts im gotischen Stil errichtet. Trotz grundlegender Sanierung 1985 ist die Bausubstanz derzeit in keinem guten Zustand.. Impressive chapter and parish church consecrated to the apostle Peter, with a church tower that can be seen from a distance of around 80 m. In its present form, the church was mostly built in the Gothic style between the end of the 14th and the middle of the 16th century. Despite fundamental renovation in 1985, the buildings are currently in poor condition.
