★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was okay-ish but not recommendable, the service was below par.
The carbonara was with some kind of ham instead of pancetta or bacon and had a lot of pepper (a lot) but was otherwise okay as I didn't mind too much.
However the toilet had no soap, which the cook rectified by giving his personal soap bar.
At the end they tried to overcharge every item by 50 cents, when pointed out, they said they would rectify, claiming the menu had old prices - but they would charge me what my menu said. Upon giving change however... They tried to give me less change... Twice! The man giving change claimed he couldn't see well... (putting his glasses on and off as he looked at the coins to try and prove some kind of point)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly service. A nice surprise. I was actually impressed: the food seems freshly made, unlike other similar places that serve you pre-made stuff. Very tasty food and huge portions. Would happily return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered spareribs and fries, even when you take a sip out of the deadsea it would be less salty. Using a clean grill and less salt is preferable to keep your kidneys. Spareribs are not recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly one of the best experiences I have had with the Steakhouse Mama restaurant, the food just took me back to the old days and it was truly amazing. It’s the type of place where you don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Thank you mario and his beautiful wife for the best experience in the Netherlands/Belgium. I wish you guys all the best. And it’s definitely a come back to the restaurant ❤️
