β β β β β Very friendly and helpful, i go there regularly since i am searching for a cat to adopt. Animals are in different rooms with also possibilities of outside space and they seem well cared for. They are not pushy on you to decide on the spot. They also offer pension for your animal. Visiting hours are short and in the middle of the day so Saturday is your only option if you are working in the week.

β β β β β Adopted my two kittens from here. They were very well socialised and cared-for. The after-care is excellent as well. Got their 2nd round of shots for free and also offered to have them spade and neutered.
Only the planning can be a little rusty. Called to ask if they had kittens available and they said they'd be available the next day, provided they were healthy. Then I go there only to learn that they hadn't been separated from their mother yet.
Regardless, excellent experience and would highly recommend!

β β β β β We left our dog here for three days over the weekend and we were SHOCKED when we picked him up on the Monday. He had an upset stomach and was full of feces - including his blanket we sent with him. He also has raw sores/injuries under eye and on his nose as if he had been hurt. This is absolutely disgusting and heartbreaking. These people obviously neglect the animals and who even knows how our dog had received those sores. Do NOT send your animal here. If it could give this place zero stars I would.

β β β β β We contacted the shelter with some dogs, that were advertised online, in mind and went for a visit. After an hour of talking to the people at the shelter they told us that our online picks might not be the best fit for our situation and they proposed that we meet Diesel.
After meeting and walking him we went home and got to thinking; he was definitely not the kind of dog we had in mind because of the awfull stereotype that these dogs have, but after walking him a second time and some time to think about things we decided to take a chance.
He has been the best with people, kids, other dogs and most importantly us. The moral of this story, don't judge a book by its cover and trust the capable people at this shelter to guide you to a great addition to your life.
P.S. say goodbye to your couch space

β β β β β Adopted a 5 year old cat from here about a year ago. She is such a precious baby and we are so glad we have her. When we adopted her they were very helpful, the process was not as insanely specific as other shelters (like the LEIDEN shelter, which was more like adopting a child) and they were clearly very invested in making sure she had a good and reliable home. We wanted to have her checked out to ensure she was all set medically and this shelter offered to have their vet look her over a month or so after we got her to ensure she had a consistent vet and was still healthy and happy, which we were really impressed by. A great center.
