Als wir nach Infos fragten, wurden wir nett und freundlich beraten und wir bekamen viel Informationsmaterial zum mitnehmen mit. Nice and helpful staff. Fout show bijltje in de vitrine ipv een goede replica. De schildknop gemaakt van aluminium folie.... koop voor minder dan 2 tientjes een goede :S Wel leuk voor kinderen, ook de bak met playmobile vikingen been a few years ago. Nice if there is a market for that alone I would give five for. However, the museum is disappointing. Error hatchet show in the display instead of a good replica. T	Ton H on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superleuk museum! Ik heb geleerd dat de Wieringen een lange geschiedenis heeft, doordat het wat hoger ligt dan de omliggende gebieden. Dat levert ook mooie lokale vondsten op: van de overblijfselen van Vikingen tot Mammoeten - genoeg te zien. Super fun museum! I learned that the Wieringen has a long history, because it is somewhat higher than the surrounding areas. That also produces beautiful local finds: from the remains of Vikings to Mammoths - plenty to see.

Hierzu wird eine kostenlose Tasse Kaffee oder Tee angeboten. Der Eintritt kostet 3,50 Euro und ist sehr moderat. Die Ausstellung ist klein aber fein und bietet neben der Wikingerausstellung auch einen Überblick über die gesamte Geschichte der Insel. Auch für eine ausreichende Beschäftigung der Kinder ist gesorgt. The receptionist is very nice and accommodating. There is a short film as an introduction to the museum visit. A free cup of coffee or tea is offered for this purpose. The entrance fee is 3.50 euros and is very moderate. The exhibition is small but nice and offers not only the Viking exhibition but also an overview of the entire history of the island. Sufficient activity for the children is also ensured.
