β β β β β Since 6 years we come here twice a year in spring and autumn. Very nice bungalows and very friendly staff. Calm and near to the beach but also central and near to Rotterdam, Den Haag, Scheveningen, Delft, ...

β β β β β The houses are nice, the carpark and the rooms are secure. We had a break in when we visited and security, followed by the police, came swiftly. The real letdown is that the internet is less than a Mb per second (megabit not megabyte!!) and that there is no AirCon! I would not recommend if you are 1. A tech-savvy person and 2. If you are visiting in the summer.

β β β β β nice place to camp, or hire a bungalow. prices are more then reasonable. all facilities work and are clean ( like showers, interior off the bungalows, etc )
public transport is not that great at the moment, there is a bus to Rotterdam and back. in the near future ( 6 / 12 months ) there will be a metro all the way from Rotterdam to the beach ( Hoek van Holland strand )

β β β β β Liked: The campesite and surrounding area, quick and easy access to the beach, the staff where extremely friendly and very helpful, all spoke English which was a great help.
Disliked: It rained a lot so the grass outside our van became very muddy and mushy making a mess inside for us.

β β β β β Liked: Nice large pitches. Toilets and showers spotless.
Short walk to miles of golden sandy beaches.
Disliked: As it was winter the main loo / shower block was closed, unfortunately this is used to feed the water to the mh service point and toilet drop. Had to fiddle with connections to try to fill water from a tap on the camping area, but they are push button so not ideal.
Nice site though, been twice now and enjoyed both visits.
