De geur van de hout-oven komt je lopend door de duinen tegemoet, wie weet is het Kapitein die je bij binnenkomst begroet. Neem alles vanuit de schommelbank rustig in je op en vertrek met een sprintje richting de zee voor een frisse duik. Bij terugkomst warmt de kersverse pizza je wel weer op en zit je dansend in je stoel, want er staat misschien wel reggae of een ander vrolijk niet alledaags deuntje op.

Relaxing in sun at the pit with cold beers, good wines, cool vintage interior, surfers atmosphere and amazing pizza's while enjoying beautiful dune area and wide beaches. And if the weather is not for sunbathing, great place for cosy talks inside near selfmade pizza oven.

The Pit is authentic with real friendly and laid-back people, real awesome fresh pizzas, nice cold beers and just an amazing overall atmosphere. This is all what you need for the perfect day at the beach!

The new pathway from the main road is a nice touch. Very bike friendly!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very chill beach restaurant with a great italian menu and delicious lemonades. Definitely worth visiting to taste their wood-fired pizzas.
Their beach facilities are not exactly the best ones, but surely a good spot to enjoy the sun as well.

The service in the takeaway area was bad and it turned out not all customers get the same service... also zero flexibility from the staff. Just a pizza place in a good location, don't expect more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing beach pavilion with very good pizza. The price is normal for dutch standards, and the quality is great. Too bad it took more than 1 hour to get our 3 pizzas. But besides that, the ambient is comfortable and warm, and the staff is great!
