Vanaf het station Leeuwarden vertrekt er iedere 20 minuten een bus, stadsdienst lijn 3 of 8. Uitstappen bij halte “Vlietsterbrug”, over de brug linksaf en dan 100 meter.

volg de P-route naar parkeergarage Hoeksterend (zondag’s gesloten). Parkeren kan in de parkeergarage of bij het museum/ ( blauwe zone) vanaf de parkeergarage is het ongeveer vijf minuten lopen naar het museum

C	Christian Forschner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Museum gehört einem Paar. Man wird persönlich begrüßt, es gibt auf alle Fragen eine Antwort. Eine persönliche Führung, oder Vorführungen. Das Museum ist ganz klein und total voll, in jeder Ecke gibt es was zu entdecken. Kinder sind sehr willkommen. Und es gibt jede Menge Spielzeug zu entdecken. Besuch lohnt sich total. The museum belongs to a couple. You are personally welcomed, there is an answer to all questions. A personal guide, or demonstrations. The museum is very small and totally crowded, there is something to discover in every corner. Children are very welcome. And there are lots of toys to discover. Visit is totally worth it.
J	Jeroen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aanrader om hier eens te kijken. Kleinschalig museum vol met oldtimers,Dinkytoys,Meccano,jukeboxen,radio’s,treinen en kantklossen. Vooral de persoonlijke rondleiding en uitleg van de eigenaar vonden wij erg leuk en interessant. Ten tijde van ons bezoek was er een expositie over Nikola Tesla met een opstelling van een werkende Tesla spoel. Recommended to have a look here. Small-scale museum full of old timers, Dinkytoys, Meccano, jukeboxes, radios, trains and bobbin lace. We especially liked the personal tour and explanation from the owner. At the time of our visit there was an exhibition about Nikola Tesla with an arrangement of a working Tesla coil.
B	Bert de Boer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wat een leuk museum, mooie collectie auto's, een model treinbaan groot spoor, kantklossen zit er bij in, toen wij er waren vertelde een mevrouw hierover, erg leuk. Ook is er een collectie met oude radio's te zien. Wij hebben ons prima vermaakt What a nice museum, nice collection of cars, a model train track large track, lace making is included, when we were there a lady told us about this, very nice. There is also a collection of old radios on display. We had a great time

A	Alex Schwartz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute museum. The staff is very friendly. They have an eclectic collection- old cars, lace, Dutch and Friesian history, among other things. They also have a bit on the Free Masons. It was a joy to visit. FYI- they don't accept museum cards, but entrance is inexpensive.

However, it definitely feels more like a small domestic private collection than a true museum. A little cramped and chaotic, it could do with more explanatory information and synthesis. Guided tours are more like memoirs about purchases, and there are no ways to cashless purchase entry. Needs a little modernisation to bring in younger car, photography and fashion lovers, who may well be as well informed as the usual visitors.
