A beautiful old style cafe-restaurant near Anholt on the edge of the Dwingloer Veld. Lovely private terrace under the lime trees, very friendly service, good food and good coffee.

Mooi verstopt aan de rand van het Dwingelderveld vind je 't Olde Posthuus. Al eeuwenlang een plek voor voorbijgangers, waar vroeger de koetsiers al stopten om een stukje te wandelen.
En ook nu nog is dit een top locatie om te genieten van de omgeving en de rust.
En niet te vergeten, het heerlijke eten!
De eigenaar/chef kookt klassiek met goede producten en veel passie. Dit is een recept voor een heerlijke avond.??

Nicely hidden on the edge of the Dwingelderveld you will find 't Olde Posthuus. A place for passers-by for centuries, where the coachmen used to stop for a walk.
And even now this is a top location to enjoy the surroundings and the tranquility.
And don't forget the delicious food!
The owner/chef cooks classically with good products and a lot of passion. This is a recipe for a wonderful evening.??

Smaller restaurant with 7 tables inside and a nice terrace outside.
If you'd like to dine inside I would recommend to call ahead and reserve a spot.
Food was excellently prepared and presented. Staff very friendly.
A little out of the way but definitely worth the visit.
Opens normally at 12 from Wednesday to Sunday
