★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hiding in plain sight in Noord. This, if the weather gods approve, sunny beergarden has a nice big terrace/garden in the front and and a cosy little hideout at the water in the back. Friendly staff serving a well chosen variety of German beers and finger food and small plates. We had a great afternoon with a nice NDW selection playing on the speakers outside. Will go back for sure, a real good addition to the neighbourhood!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool place, pretty large, seems to be good for groups. I feel like it's a bit German-inspired? At least in the beer list that's for sure, some good German lagers available.
Food is more on the snack side, but way above average in a Dutch bar, and a fair number of vegetarian options.
I have the impression that later in the evening it turns into more of a dancing pub, but we didn't hang in there that long.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a wonderful evening at Taverno Willi Becher last Saturday. We had been meaning to visit for a while and lucky for us there was a German beer and food festival on the day we went. Great German beers and snacks in the big beer garden. Looking forward to our next visit already!
