Came to restaurant grill club after made reservation for 3 persons on 8th Feb 2020 for a round table, the waiter confirmed and the table prepared. However, he tried to push us to sit at the corner near kitchen dark and full of smoke. I asked to sit Where we supposed to but he refused to give our table for us, claiming other group has more people and told me I don’t understand.
I completely understand and saw the other group reserved table after us, so where is firSt come first serve policy? He refuse to give table and ask us to leave to the Old restaurant elgaucho if we want to sit differently. I will never come back to be treated like that. Wasted my time and my energy. Pitty that owner couldn’t manage staff well. Pitty that staff discriminate clients because we are asian, look less than who deserve his respect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is such a surprise! Normally food in Holland, beef in particular, is bland and not too good. The Grill Club imports Argentinian beef, and cook it to perfection. I highly recommend this steak house over any other in Holland! A true must-have.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was out hunting for a steak and originally intended to go to the place next door. It was fully booked so I was recommended to go here instead. Must say that this was very fortunate. Could not have gotten a better steak. Maybe you can get as good a steak elsewhere, but better I doubt it. Service was good. Some of the staff was new as the place was only 4 months open when I went there. But the head waiter was on his toes and helped his staff along so that you didn´t feel that this place was just starting. Will go again next time I´m in Rotterdam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Second time I have been here and they do not disappoint when it comes to steak! I ordered the fajitas quadrillos and love the flavor! I do wish that there were more veggies but the steak is juicy and tender and generous. My husband got the ossenhaas steak and said it could have used some flavor but it was tender and juicy... grilled perfectly. Last time he got the sampling and it was wonderful. The empanadas could use less dough on the edges, but they are tasty appetizers. A great atmosphere and attentive staff makes for a very nice ?? evening! (For the fajitas skip the “tortilla” ... i think it was a wheat flour tortilla... one... and it was cold and hard... I hope they try to get corn tortillas and give you two or three... always room for improvement ?)
