★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got my hair cut by a trainee who doesn't know how to cut hair at all. She cut my ear, but luckily it is not bleeding. They charge the same price for the haircut by the trainee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went for a haircut at The Proof for the very first time and really liked the experience. As I have asian wavy hair the hair was cut dry and then it was washed, which I believe worked really well. I would definitely recommend it for someone who has wavy/curly hair.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Coming from a country where it was impossible to get a dry haircut without paying immense amounts, I only ever had my hair cut with wet hair - which, as anyone with curly hair knows, leads to many less than ideal haircuts. So this was by far the best, least complicated, solid haircut I have ever received. It's not a special haircut - but I much prefer this over all the adventurous things previous hairstylists tried, while having no understanding of curly hair (all while judging me for my hair being dry/messy) - if you are anything like me, having had many bad experiences, I can't recommend this salon enough.
(I do think the stylist may have been a trainee, costing the same price, as some people mentioned in the reviews, but the owner was watching and advising so I didn't really mind)
