★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ik vind deze bibliotheek geweldig alleen maar hangjongeren en soms komen er echt een paar goeie wijven echt een tijgers applausje voor alle mensen die in de bieb werken en vooral een SO naar Glenn aka Sniper zoals wij hem kennen en voor alle tijgers die dit lezen kom lekker naar de bieb is de beste plek om te hangen en te leren en kom met meer mooiere wijven Ewa wens jullie nog een fijne dag groetjes Daan. En nog 1 ding focking SO naar heel de buurt!
 I think this library is great just hanging kids and sometimes a few good ladies really come with a tiger applause for all the people who work in the library and especially an ST to Glenn aka Sniper as we know him and for all tigers who read this come nice going to the library is the best place to hang out and learn and come with more beautiful women Ewa wish you a nice day greetings Daan. And one more thing focking SO to the whole neighborhood!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Grote openbare ruimte goed toegangkelijk voor rolstoelen maar die lift, echt dood eng als je hoogtevrees hebt, glazen ramen.....
Large public area easily accessible for wheelchairs but that elevator, really scary if you are afraid of heights, glass windows.....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Als je het mij vraagt is dit niet bepaald een goede bibliotheek. Teveel hangjongeren die net zo goed naar de andere gekant gestuurd kunnen worden. Op deze manier valt hier niet rustig te studeren. Als je vraagt of ze er wat aan kunnen doen is het ''Kan je niet ergens anders gaan zitten'' Pardon???
Op maandag altijd een activiteit voor ouderen. Ook dit kan aan de andere kant gedaan worden. Ze hebben daar een grote ruimte vrij. Op maandag kunnen zij daar wel leuk eten en drinken, maar als jij even wat naar binnen wilt werken`; HO MAAR dat mag niet heel hypocriet dit. Deze bibliotheek heeft een heel hoop verbeter punten
If you ask me this is not exactly a good library. Too many youngsters who can just as well be sent to the other side. It is not easy to study in this way. If you ask if they can do something about it, it's "Can't sit somewhere else" "Excuse me ???
Always an activity for the elderly on Mondays. This can also be done on the other hand. They have a large space available there. On Mondays they can have nice food and drinks there, but if you want to work inside for a while`; HO BUT that may not be very hypocritical this. This library has many improvements

Helaas ook een aantal keer de boeken onvindbaar( niet goed terug gezet door klanten? )

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De Tweede Verdieping is een verrassing in ruimte, inrichting en alleraardigste ontvangst. Het werk van woord- en beeldendkunstenaar Ton de Gruijter krijgt in deze ruimte een extra dimensie. Vooral het aan art deco denkende werk lijkt verbinding tussen het nu en het verleden te willen leggen. Indrukwekkend!
De bijna poëtische weergave van markante punten zoals bij voorbeeld het kappershuisje in Vreeswijk zijn in combinatie met het toegevoegde dichtwerk zeer herkenbaar.
Het werk van Liz Ditters was voor mij wat minder toegankelijk.
Neemt niet weg dat de contrasten ontdekken stimuleren.
The Second Floor is a surprise in terms of space, design and the most friendly reception. The work of word and visual artist Ton de Gruijter takes on an extra dimension in this space. The art deco-inspired work, in particular, seems to want to establish a connection between the present and the past. Impressive!
The almost poetic rendering of striking points, such as the hairdresser's house in Vreeswijk, in combination with the added poetry, is very recognizable.
The work of Liz Ditters was less accessible to me.
Nevertheless, the contrasts stimulate discovery.
