★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally, a decent sandwich & panini shoppe in the city centre.
I have always seen this Italian boutique walking down the grote gracht main strip but thought it was mainly cakes because of the name. What a delight to have a panini from this shop! I havent tried the tiramisu yet, but i'm looking forward to that on a rainy day. If you need to pick up a quick lunch when in town, this is the place to do it. Delicious. Im so glad I dont have to go to Wyck anymore if I feel like gourmet Italian! This is a great find. Oh yeah, and the service is welcoming and attentive too. I came back to collect my order and had to wait outside bec of corona and others in the shop, but the staff was looking out for me and brought it out to me. 5 stars all around.

I went there almost weekly when I was a student, and always enjoyed the sandwiches and bakes. The arancini is a must try if available.
When I think about Maastricht, I think of Mona's smile and her delicious food!

Everything is homemade and fresh. They even offer take away.
Great prices and a must try!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Italian food. I don't find many good food places in the Netherlands but this place must be a go-to spot if you live in Maastricht. We have done takeout here multiple times and everything is amazing. Things we've tried and highly recommend are the lasagna, meatballs, tiramisu, and outstanding bread. Her shop also makes very good warm sandwiches.

It was kind of a bummer to wait though, because there's no where to sit, in or out side the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A little pricey but it honestly doesn't even matter because their sandwiches (aka homemade focaccia) are sooo good! The lady serving me was also really nice (and spoke Italian which is always good when eating Italian food).
