★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Toeristisch Overstappunt Lexmond, een prachtig uitgangspunt voor een bezoek aan de nieuwe gemeente Vijfheerenlanden.
Eerst maar even door het dorp Lexmond via de Laak met veel mooie boerderijen naar de Dorpsstraat met zijn Hervormde kerk en huizen met mooie geveltjes, jammer dat die Dorpsstraat zo vol staat met auto´s, wat afbreuk doet aan het dorpsgezicht van dit mooie dijkdorp.
Aan het eind van de Dorpsstraat gaan we de dijk op en komen in het buurtschap Achthoven.
Zelf zeg ik altijd hier is het Holland op zijn mooist, prachtige vergezichten over de rivier de Lek met aan de overzijde het dorp Jaarsveld.
 Tourist transfer point Lexmond, a wonderful starting point for a visit to the new municipality of Vijfheerenlanden.
First through the village of Lexmond via the Laak with many beautiful farms to the Dorpsstraat with its Reformed church and houses with beautiful facades, too bad that Dorpsstraat is so full of cars, which detracts from the village view of this beautiful dyke village.
At the end of the Dorpsstraat we go up the dike and arrive in the hamlet of Achthoven.
I always say that Holland is at its best here, beautiful views of the river Lek with the village of Jaarsveld on the other side.
