β β β β β I'm a little confused at the rating of 4.6? The burgers were dry, patty flat as a pancake with no real flavour. The salad and the fries were old and dry. The milkshake was not nice either, and I am really not picky about these things. It was like drinking pure sugar and cream in a bad way.
The upside is that the atmosphere is really authentically American Diner with the music & what was playing on the tv.
Can't give it 1* since it was edible, it was just bad food.

β β β β β Tom's diner is one of my favorite restaurant it's delicious and not expansive.
The milkshakes are the best i have ever taste with over 50 different flavors.
the staff is friendly. and the design is amazing with a old american atmosphere. And the music are old song's which make it complete.
I have only had 1 bad experience with this restaurant and that is the reservation. I made a reservation and they didn't put a sign on a table to hold the reservation. We had to sit in a corner on high tables because the waiter was to busy to clean a table. In the end we sad on a normal table and I enjoyed the rest of the evening.

Everyone is super friendly and professional, from the staff to the chef, and they will always go the extra mile to make your experience great.
The atmosphere is unique, full of American pop culture references... almost like a jump back in time or in the movie 'Grease', and every time you go back, you notice new details in the decoration. The music in the background is great, yet not too loud so that you can still have a conversation.... and the burgers are Absolutely Amazing! (I strongly recommend the "speciaal" which is not on the menu but is so very tasty.) They also have a huge variety of delicious milkshake. Trust the waiter/waitress, they will suggest interesting flavours that are all great... my personal favourite is the "peanut butter/ banana/ bacon"... and even if it sounds odd, it is so very very good!
Cherry on the top, if your doggy is well behaved, you are always welcome to bring him in! Tom's Dinner has become one of our 'go to place' and everytime we has guests visiting, we go there with them.

β β β β β Such a fun atmosphere and delicious food. Their milkshake possibilities are extensive! Very fun and great children's menus. The staff is very friendly and seem like they enjoy their work. Will go again soon for sure.

β β β β β When you walk into this diner you feel the spirit of the United States. There are references to American pop culture, pictures of music and film icons like Elvis and Marilyn Monroe. This place definitely has a soul.
I ordered Tommy's Big Beef Burger, with fries and salad. It was delicious. The bun was soft but not floppy, meat was great, bacon was salty, just as I like it and egg was also great. Fries were well seasoned, I haven't eaten such a good fries in a long time. Salad was good, I was surprised it included a little slice of watermelon, but it didn't stole my heart. The serving was big, I barely finished it, so be careful with what you order.
Overall, I recommend this place to anyone who likes burgers and is a fan of American style and culture.

β β β β β Never been to Tom's Diner in Roosendaal before, we stepped in and it appeared they were understaffed. We got a table for 5 but instead of long waits the waitress worked real hard to make us feel welcome. The food was really well cooked and presented, the waitress Madelief and staff were awesome. We will be back for sure!
