 Beautiful lookout tower on the Banisveld. Made as a gift for and on the occasion of the retirement of French Captain forester Kampina.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leuk ding, dit bouwsel. Erg gemakkelijk te beklimmen. Het uitzicht is ook best ok. Goed verhaal ook over het ontstaan van de Tour de Frans op de informatieborden die je kunt vinden aan de voet van de toren. Heb op deze toren echt genoten van de zonsondergang! Leuk detail: in het midden van de twee plateaus staat een ronddraaiende schijf/kruk!
Nice thing, this structure. Very easy to climb. The view is also quite ok. Good story also about the origin of the Tour de Frans on the information boards that you can find at the foot of the tower. Really enjoyed the sunset on this tower! Nice detail: in the middle of the two platforms is a revolving disc / stool!

Nice slow staircase that takes you to a beautiful view. If you're in the area climb up the watchtower!

Tower is a wel made construction with small steps to the top. There is also an intermediate floor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a nice easy walk to this viewing tower. The walking roads are wide, can get a bit muddy, and are suitable for bikes, balance bikes, horses, dogs and walkers. The view is lovely. There is also a circle of rocks nearby with some runes carved in them, but we weren't sure what it was all about. ? A Dutch mini Stonehenge, perhaps, haha.
Lovely walk and nice views of the Brabant countryside.
