★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is absolutely amazing. The two gentlemen running the place show their passion for the craft every day. Everything is excellent - whether you sit down for a three-course lunch (salad, main, dessert) or just get a sandwich takeout. Dish of the day changes regularly. Reservations are essential. Come early - to maintain quality, they cook only so many portions of each dish, so they do run out of popular dishes sometimes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time to this wonderful restaurant, which served dishes from the Lyonnaise region of France. From the fine dishes to the great wine offerings one cannot go wrong. The day specials that are offered are truly exquisite, when I went they offered Boeuf Bourguignon which was simply the most delicious I have had. One must go and experience this fine French restaurant if they are just visiting the city or if you live here and want to have a wonderful evening of dining or fantastic lunch.

Whereas I cannot fault the quality of the food at the time and my experience overall was decent, I'm absolutely appalled by the answer the owner gave to this other comment. Your customer service skills need fine turning! I know enough French to understand that she believes you made a mistake in the price, own it! (Google also translates comments). And yes the place is indeed small and yes she wasn't dining there, just buying products. Despite her experience she gave you 3 stars, get a grip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite restaurants in the world and certainly my number one choice in The Hague. The food is as gourmet as it gets and the service is always spot on. Eating at le gone is a gastronomical experience that’s hard to find outside of Lyon. Don’t go if you’re on a diet or if you’re looking for a quick hot dog and fries! And don’t feel guilty if you end up having a 3 hour lunch and polishing off a couple bottles of wine!
