β β β β β Really bad communication, trying to let things fixed, but always forgetting the appointments or ordering the wrong stuff. When you want to be waiting for 4 months for example for a dishwasher than you are at the right address!

β β β β β This company is a joke. Even 1 star is to high for them. Completely unproffesional - they never answer calls or emails, ignore requests and questions asked. I've moved out of the appartment a year ago and I still didn't get my deposit back. I had to contact an advocate to solve this. They said they forgot to return my deposit, which is definetely not true as I was sending them a lot of emails reminding about it (ignored). They don't care about their tenants at all - They allowed me to move in even though the appartment was not yet ready - boiler was not working, so I had to spend few days without heating and hot water (in winter!). Stay away from them if you want to avoid problems and inconvienience.

β β β β β I found Trotz Vastgoed very helpful. We had a family emergency and they were compassionate and helpful with my speedy departure. Our representative even met me on Saturday, her day off, so I could make my flight back to America. Also, thanks for the excellent English!

β β β β β While the apartment was in a good state - the communication and service of Trotz was exceptionally disappointing. We waited over half a year to have a working doorbell (which broke soon after), dealt with months of excrutiatingly loud renovations in the garage below starting at 7 in the morning (even on weekends!), and the communication when we left the apartment and needed to replace a laminate plank was confusing and showed a lack of coordination in their company. We have now been waiting over 2 months for our deposit of over 1700 euros. They claim they cannot give it back to us until the owner gives it back to them, but as a property management company isn't it THEIR JOB to manage these affairs? Overall, shameful service from Trotz, that at this rate will soon require legal intervention. I would avoid if you can.
Update: After sending a registered letter with no response, we managed to find and contact the owner of the building, who informed us that it was indeed Trotz' responsibility to return the deposit. Finally, after almost 3 months, we will be receiving our deposit. Clearly there is serious miscommunication between Trotz and their clients that needs to be resolved.

β β β β β We lived in the appartement for two years. For more than a year they renovated the house and made more than ten appartements in the house. They started at 7 in the morning, drilling, hammering, dust. They did not want to communicate with us. I worked from home and I was also pregnant in this periode. They did not care. Later they sent us away after the two years contract periode without reason. Just broke the contract. They have no storage facility in the house and I couldn't even put the stroller anywhere. Maybe they got too many angry letters from us. They did not give the deposit back.

β β β β β I moved out of the apartment and left it in perfect condition. The company had 2 months to refund the deposit. After two months I started sending several email reminders, which were simply ignored. Once called, the employee of the company explained that she is doing everything she can to help me, but still after several calls nothing...
After 7 months, I decided to hire a lawyer, which on my behalf requested a refund of deposit together with statutory interest. This somehow worked. I received the deposit back, but without interest. When I asked about it, they said that the delay was caused by simple misunderstanding and they apologize, but the landlord refuses to pay the interest.
Just to give everyone an overview, we are talking about 24 EUR of interest that they refuse to pay, where I had to pay the lawyer almost 400 EUR (!!!) to get back what was mine with 7 months delay.
For these that are renting apartments from this company- I really hope that it will change the approach in the future and you will not face this problem.
For these who are looking for an apartment - simply look somewhere else, stay away from Trotz.

Bad Customer service - Barely answer calls or messages and when they do it's in an unpolite manner
When moving out take into account for 2-3 months before deposits are returned
