★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantástische camping! Grote plekken met mooi sanitair naast je plek, gedeeld met de buren. Er is stroom, warm water en het mooiste: gratis gebruik van roeibootjes! Echt een vondst met een supervriendelijke eigenaresse. Absolute aanrader!
 Fantastic campsite! Large places with nice sanitary facilities next to your place, shared with the neighbors. There is electricity, warm water and the best thing: free use of rowing boats! A real find with a super friendly owner. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heerlijke camping, een oord van rust in de drukke Randstad. Leiden, Alphen aan de Rijn en Gouda zijn allemaal dichtbij, en toch merk je niks van de drukte. Alle plekken staan aan het water met veel vissen en andere waterdieren. De plekken zijn lekker groot, en de sanitaire faciliteiten deel je maar met 1 andere plek.
Verder fantastische voorzieningen: elke plek een eigen hangmat, een gezellige gemeenschappelijke kas met boeken en spelletjes, fietsen die je mag lenen, een vuurschaal met hout en boten die je mag lenen om de achterliggende vaart te ontdekken.
Al met al een super leuke camping, met genoeg privé om lekker je eigen ding te doen, maar ook genoeg activiteiten om mensen te ontmoeten.
Wonderful campsite, a haven of peace in the busy Randstad. Leiden, Alphen aan de Rijn and Gouda are all close by, and yet you don't notice the crowds. All places are on the water with many fish and other aquatic animals. The pitches are nice and big, and the sanitary facilities are shared with only 1 other place.
Furthermore, fantastic facilities: each spot has its own hammock, a cozy communal greenhouse with books and games, bicycles that you can borrow, a fire bowl with wood and boats that you can borrow to discover the canal behind.
All in all a super nice campsite, with enough private space to do your own thing, but also enough activities to meet people.

I was supposed to be here for a few weeks and ended up staying 4 months (and I will be back again!).
Highly recommend.
Not just for the place, which is gorgeous, but especially for the people! How amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a good time in the beginning trying to help the owner but in the end she was very impolite with us and there was a 40€ receipt of material that we bought for the camping that she denies refunding it. Don't support people who take advantage of others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a paradise. The host Sarah welcomed us in to the campsite with her wheelbarrow. We had to wait and wonder for a while, ask around, but I'm so glad we persevered. The pitch was sat along side the canal as we're all the others. There was a toilet and shower at every other pitch so no need to make the big walk in the dark. All the pitches have hammocks. There is a pit fire near the jetty and rowing boats to explore the canal. They were included in the price of 35 Euros for the 3 of us and a tent. There are lots of cycle paths and interesting small towns to visit. I took this photo from the hammock in our pitch. Thank you Sarah ???
