Polderflora is een kleinschalige, gemoedelijke camping en een prima uitvalsbasis voor wandelaars, fietsers, natuurliefhebbers en vogelspotters.

Op de camping bevinden zich drie waterpartijen die zijn omzoomd door duizenden gebiedseigen planten. Ook zien wij ontzettend veel vogels en waterdiertjes die onze waterpartijen als thuisbasis in gebruik hebben genomen. In en om de hooiberg zijn verschillende nestkasten geplaatst die dankbaar worden gebruikt door torenvalken, spreeuwen en duiven. De dijk aan de westelijke oever van de vijvers is niet toegankelijk voor gasten. Hierdoor blijft er rust en veiligheid voor de iets schuwere vogels. Op de tussendijk tussen de twee vijvers, heeft imker Jan een mooi plekje voor zijn bijenkasten. Regelmatig neemt hij gasten mee naar zijn kasten en vertelt hen over het leven van zijn bijen en hun bijzondere plaats in het ecosysteem. Onlangs is op het aangrenzende perceel aan de westzijde van de camping een nieuw natuurgebied aangelegd. Natuurgebied IJsvogel bestaande uit o.a. een moerasgebied en een vogelkijkmuur. Vanaf de camping loopt u via het Rietveldsepad zo het IJsvogelpad op.

P	Pete Barton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were looking for a place that would be close to Keukenhof as well a having the opportunity to cycle in the countryside. Polderflora ticked all the boxes. The greeting we got from Jeanette and André, the new owners, was very friendly, warm and informative and they continued to be very helpful throughout our visit. The pitches are all on a mix of paving and artificial grass, with close by power points and water. Vehicles can unload but then have to be parked in in pine of two parking areas, great not to have cars moving around. The toilets, shower and sink block were very modern with vert hot water, excellent. You are about 1.5 miles away from local shops, very easy to get to by bike. Lots and lots of wildlife here, the owners have a pig, sheep and chickens and the local waters are visited by a wide range of birds including swans, grebes, coots and many others. A great place to stay!

The owner is very friendly and showed us a good spot for our caravan from where he had very nice view over small pond .. Sanitair facilities are excellent, clear with free hot showers and hot water for washing and doing dishes.. All is coronaproof.. they have lot of information on nearby cities to visits as well as walking or cycling routes

We have been cycle touring through Scandinavia and Germany over 2 months, and this would be our favourite campsite - we reorganised our cycle tour and decided to stay two more nights. The campsite is peaceful and beautiful with lovely grass to pitch the tent on, clean & modern amenities and access to a fridge. The location is great for day rides to Leiden, Gouda, Delft and The Hague. The nearest town is 4 kms away & has a selection of restaurants.
A	Ann Andrews on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here in 2015 for a week . Absolutely perfect. Part of a smallholding - chickens etc walking around at times with other small animals nearby. Beautifully clean and friendly people. Amazing wash/toilet facilities. Small and cosy - by the water - farm shop with locally made and grown produce. Definitely going back when we come to Holland next time

They have tables and an amazing 'barn' to sit in if you wish with sofas, fridge and cooking facilities would be great for bike packers! The toilets and showers play music non stop but you can't hear it outside. Only bother was a rooster calling in the morning and farm traffic at night but still would definitely recommend it as a site very clean and friendly! The evening views incredible such a sunset very nice! I would want to return ?????

Being beside the river added to the beauty and there were numerous farmyard animals around too, including chickens, pigs, sheep and alpaca. There is a supermarket about 5mins away by car but the setting of the campsite is very rural and peaceful. Good value at €33 for a family of four. Very clean, hot, showers (no extra charge) and excellent washing and cleaning facilities. A lovely site.
A	Arthur Morris on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed for almost a week in the fall of 2018. Very nice owners. They were helpful and friendly. The camping area is pretty and well cared-for. The man who mows the lawn was also friendly and cheerful. The bathrooms, showers, and changing areas were very clean and pleasant. The campers were quiet and mature. The setting was restful after being in the busy cities. I drove every day into Rotterdam. However, Google maps shows it would been a fair bike ride. Of course there's a train station in the nearest town; in this case about 30 minutes walking from the camping area or a short bike ride.
