E	Erik Brattinga on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wide range of sport activities are offered at Maastrichts University's Gym. Over the last years a constant trend of adapting and keeping up with the latest popular sporting trends has given way to a continuously growing and more professional gym, professional group lessons of all different kinds and modernization of the facilities. Walk-in Sport activities are offered throughout the day and most of the traditional sports can be played at some point during the week (most even several times). For some sports there are even professional trainers present who will help you when needed/wanted. Several student sport associations also use the facilities and if you wish you can sign up and meet some new friends. In my experience with most sports people are friendly and will invite you to join and help you get better or just have fun with them. There is a dedicated area for Martial Arts and even though I never went there, from what I gather and hear there is a large amount of lessons available, all lead by well trained professionals. Finally a few extra things are available which you might not expect; few squash courts, a small climbing wall and some more relaxing lessons like meditation/Yoga. The only thing really missing (due to some failed plans a few years ago) is a University Swimming Pool. I love to go there and have never been disappointed by the service of the trainers or other personal.

The service has always been really nice, the food good, not the best drinks. Decent student prices. Comfortable study places and also equipped with printers etc. Good range of options for doing sports at very affordable prices.
S	Simone on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ UM sports present numerous sport activities for students, staff and alumni as well at a low price but high quality. A very special place where to exercise and study. They also present silent studying rooms and the cafe downstairs can be used to sip a warm drink and dive in your subjects. Don’t know how it will be during corona times but when the rest is super packed for exams weeks, the learning spaces at UM sports are a very handy option where you can exercise and study all in one place.

Good place to do nothing at a great atmosphere, but if you want to workout, without planning your whole week for the least full hours, don't waste your money on the subscription, even if it is low. Your gym results will thank you later. Apart from the gym, sports classes are great, and learning spaces are good too.
