★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's an amazing city, full of university students and expats.. Nearly 30% of the people in the city is from abroad.. You won't have any problem finding people who don't speak English. The majority are very proficient. Utrecht is similar to Amsterdam but in smaller scale and without the huge amount of tourist excited to go for a coffee shop.. It has very good restaurants along the main canal in the city center, it's a must place to visit in the Netherlands and also to live ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This has been a couple of years ago but I saw "the Great Gatsby" in 3D and it really stuck to me. I mean, in general cinemas are not the most hygienic or even convenient but this place is actually a bit charming. It has a regular public of the students from the Utrecht University that have some spare time, hence a dynamic public

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aside from the more experimental movie houses, this is my favourite cinema of Utrecht. The building and atmosphere are gorgeous and it is always a pleasure. However, the building isn't maintained that well. On many of the seats are old chewing gum. The programming isn't that special either. They usually put on the movies that have been showing for a while or the movies that aren't that popular. The retail offer for food and snacks are good, but I would suggest moving to a nice bar when you want to have a drink after the movie's over.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for some movie escape. Comfortable chairs, spacious leg room and big screen. The staff is friendly and they have various selection of snacks and beverages. Also popcorn!! Sweet and salty. There is no place to put your drink next to your chair though, but we weren't seating close to others so we could easily place it down
