β β β β β Got a tour of the place. Beautiful architecture and great history. Visitors should pay extra attention to the front doors and there is a cafΓ© you can relax in.

β β β β β It is such a shame to see such a nice building in a great location being managed so poorly. The employees are bored to death, unkind and always unwilling to help and ready for some irony. Every encounter with them to date (with very few exceptions) has ranged from unacceptable to infuriating!

β β β β β A beautiful building but terribly designed as a study space, always crowded during the day, logic-defying rules , and generally miserable food options. If you are looking for a place to work during the day, I recommend anywhere else.

β β β β β Large public library in absolutely beautiful classical style, as the former palace of Lodewijk Napoleon. It's worth peeking inside to see the small rooms packed with bookshelves and studying students, the tiny secret tower in the far corridor, the underground bicycle parking, and the unexpected grand courtyard.
There's an affordable cafeteria that's open for lunch and drink machines before the entrance to the library. You must have ID on you to enter the library itself.

β β β β β If it's your first time in this (beautiful) library, be prepared to get lost a few times. Would like to see a lot more study places, every spot was already taken at 09:45. It just generally feels they didn't use the space of the building efficiently.

β β β β β Gorgeous building, very light and spacious. It can get very full sometimes, but if you can get yourself a spot it's nice to work there. It's not always very clean, especially the toilets and private/group studyrooms.
It is kind of a maze though, there are many many confusing doors, paths, rooms, etc, so it's easy to lose your way. You usually can't simply walk in the right direction and end up where you wanted to be.
There are lots of signs though, so eventually you'll always end up in the right place.

β β β β β Great library! However, irresponsible students have been coughing in the library almost every day for the past week.
Having noise-cancelling headphones as a protective measure is one thing - being sick 2 days later, possibly from someone in the library is something else. If you have whatever symptoms, stay home fgs. As if the past 2 years haven't learned us enough. I thought I was around smart, academic people here.
Or please, as library administration, implement a hygiene concept that puts all the sick people in one room so they can freely share their sick hobby of spreading pathogens. However they are called - Corona, the flu - I don't want any of them.
Next time I'll take a mask to protect myself and show my disgust for these people.
