P.S. You need to book in advance as it is a small restaurant

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered 2x surprise vegan three course meal plus cakes for my birthday during lockdown. It was so delicious we were super impressed! Delivery was very expensive but they sent a taxi in good time and both the driver and restaurant made sure I knew it was on the way. They made sure my birthday was extra special and I love the extra touch of having a voice note to describe the food. Possibly the best vegan food I've had in a restaurant as I much prefer fresh vegetable ingredients to 'vegan junk food' and the portions were generous to more than fill us which can sometimes be an issue with fully vegetable-based vegan restaurants.

The owners are so knowledgeable about food and wine, and all the food was excellent: it felt like I was dining at a friend or relative's home rather than a restaurant.. The restaurant was very clean, and the food was very reasonably priced.

Thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience; its a pretty gem of a restaurant tucked away like a treasure in plain sight, run by a lovely couple who clearly put in lots of love and care into everything they do! We had their surprise 3 course lunch with wine recommended by the knowledgeable Mr Gido.
The food and wine were, to simply put it, delicious! All the dishes were unique, diverse and wholesome.
The deserts were the star for me; decadent, rich and worth every calorie ;).
Will definitely be visiting again!
Recommend all (vegetarian or not) to put this on their list and make a reservation!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolute must for vegetarians and even vegans in Amsterdam! The food is so well thought out, paired together, and coupled with organic wines. Wonderful atmosphere, wonderful hosts, beautiful resident kitty allowed to see guests after the kitchen closes. Do make a reservation because there is very limited capacity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing experience from start to finish. All the food was excellent and each dish we got a description of what part of the world it came from. You can tell they are passionate about what they serve and definitely know what they’re doing. We had great natural wines paired with out food as well. Not to mention the tasty desserts at the end. You will not leave this restaurant hungry or unhappy.
Thank you for the great evening. We can’t wait to come back and see what dishes will be served up next.
