I have to be honest, anything before the actual moves went very well with Alliance Movers: Friendly, very reactive by email and phone to answer questions and very sharp on the price proposal. This was giving us a lot of confidence to do business with them. The problem started from the move itself… While we accepted a quote for 3 movers and a 30 cubic meters truck, we ended up with 3 movers but a 22 cubic meters truck. Not a surprise that not all our furniture was not fitting into the truck. A second trip was needed ending up with more hours on the invoice. With a 30 cubic meters truck, one trip would have been enough! During the move, the movers made clear that we should have requested a lift. Guess what? We did ask if it was needed and Alliance Movers said it was not… Another decision that somehow increased the numbers of hours invoiced. We were worried that few furnitures would not fit in our staircase. We addressed it specifically, sending pictures and Alliance Movers confirmed: It is not needed to unmount those, it will fit. Guess again… We had to unmount them on the spot losing time and increasing one more time the number of hours invoiced! We have no complain against the employees (ZZPs) that came that day as they were good movers, effective and very careful but this all situation has been clearly set up by Alliance Movers to pump up the invoice at the end of the day. Cherry on the cake: the movers “forgot” the pin machine forcing us to pay cash. They also refused to give us an invoice on the spot pretending we will receive it within 3 days from Alliance Movers. We never received the invoice. You can imagine that we complained to Alliance Movers for the extra money we had to pay cash and ask to be reimbursed for the difference between the quote and the actual price. We never receive any feedback from them and surprisingly they do not pick up the phone anymore (unless we call with a different phone number). As a conclusion, do not work with them. The job will be well done but the rest is a scam!

I used Alliance movers early July 2021. Before they arrived I was understandably nervous and anxious that everything would go as planned. Straight away the guys put me at ease and set to work. From start to finish they were excellent. They did a great job dismantling and rebuilding my furniture and were calm and professional throughout. The bill came almost exactly on the estimate. 10/10

I will write this review in English in order for everyone to be able to read it. Our experience with Alliance Movers was actually a very positive one. We were helped by Bilal and Ibo. They were extremely polite, professional and helpful. Moving is an extremely stressful process and I was very happy to have them two help us with everything. We initially booked 3 movers and a 30m3 truck. The truck was indeed 30m3 but only 2 movers came and after they looked at the things they decided that it's not necessary to call another mover. Luckily for us, they were right. Their approximations were a bit TOO CLOSE for comfort. The things we had fit wayyyyy to tight. Note to self: next time get a 40m3 truck. They didn't allow us to pay by card so we had to go take out money. This isn't a huge issue to be honest, I don't really care. But I wish they would have told us from the beginning on the phone when I signed the contract. It would have saved us and the movers some wasted time. I didn't get the bill per email but I took a photo of the bill so it's all good! The movers moved our things very fast. They also packed our furniture and washing machine in plastic foil to keep it scratch free. They did this very fast and they transported everything slowly and with care. They also drove very slow in order not to bounce our things around the truck and damage our fragile boxes. We also helped out with everything and we actually came a bit under quote which was amazing to see. Next time, I will definitely move with Alliance Movers again. Hopefully with the same movers Bilal and Ibo. 5 stars from me! Thank you for helping us through a stressful period and being true pros. P.S. I'm not a bot, or a paid reviewer. Good service from the employees themselves, professional and nothing broke. Only extra point to mention: - Next time I'd just request a van 1 size bigger than the suggestion as it took longer for this reason. Quote €550, in the end was €703 and was cash only.

Moving is stressful enough as it is. Alliance made ours the ultimate worst experience. On the day of our move, we receive a message 10mins after the supposed start time (9am), notifying us that there would be an hour delay. We told them “no problem” since there is always something else to do during a move. An hour later, we were told it would be 2-3hrs later. When those 3 hours came round, we had no news and could not get a hold of anyone by phone or email. We then found out that there were multiple doublebookings, and our move would be handled by two other moving companies, one for the movers and another for the lift. Round 4pm the movers arrived but we had to wait for the lift to arrive at 5pm. What was quoted to be a 3hr move ended up being 6hrs long. More than 3x the price originally budgeted. On top of that, we had to move boxes and lifting furniture ourelves because otherwise it would have taken 3hrs +. When it was finally over, we found ourselves driving around at 11pm, desperately searching for an atm because while Alliance accepts pin payments, the movers we were provided required cash. This was the most exhausting, stressful and unexpectedly expensive experience. Alliance never reached out to ask how it went or attempted to right their wrongs. Do NOT take the risk. It is not worth the apparent financial benefit. This is an extremely unprofessional and unreliable company. I have no idea how they have such good ratings.

The best mover in NL until now (after trying 6 expensive other amateur pretenders) really nice people handling every single item with care. Reacting questions and requests swiftly. 100% total satisfaction.

Not recommended. For a one person household (not many stuff), the move took about 12 hours. I was requested to pay 1900 euro immediately at 23:00 in the night in my new apartment. As a single woman, I felt threatened at that time with 2 guys from the moving company in a completely new neighbourhood. I couldn't question much but paid 800 euro extra than the quotation. I tried to reach the company for an explanation. But they never answer my phone call nor emails anymore.

Horrible company. Avoid at any cost. We had a good first impression when they wanted to close the deal. However, the contact got worse once they had us hooked. On the moving day, supposedly the moving van got broken and we had to wait close to 5 hrs for a replacement. They have indicated it should come in 1hr so that was already a bad sign. The moving went okay once they've arrived, until they broke our coffee table. After making the pictures, they only wanted payment in cash. That should've been second warning sign. The report we wrote with them about the damaged goods was complete bonkers, very unprofessional. After that we were supposed to take contact with their "complaints department". Since November, I have sent them dozens of emails, made at least 30 calls which all went to the voicemail. My wife called the same number from her phone and someone picked up, promised they would look into the complaint. Of course nothing happened. Now none of us can reach them by any means. We will try to walk into their office, though I assume it's just a fictious address. AVOID! You have been warned!
