★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's hard for me to look back on the old pictures and eventually post this negative review. Verhuisbedrijf Drechtsteden was late on the moving day.
We loaded all the stuff on the truck in the morning and we never heard back from them until 4pm in the afternoon.Guess what? The truck was on fire. All my stuff was gone. After the accident, they started criticizing my belongings to cut down the amount they would compensate. They told me to make a list, twice, for their insurance. Turns out they weren't even covered by their insurance. They said my furniture was either second hand or super old and worth nothing. It was not until we sought legal help that we received half of its worth (and still no sincere apology). Your stuff is not safe with them, so if you read this review and still consider their service... I wish you good luck.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their website says 100% of customers are happy, but we are not. Far from it. My girlfriend lost EVERYTHING DURING THE MOVE because their truck caught fire. After weeks of the company telling us to make a list and give prices on all the items in the truck for the insurance they eventually admit that it wasn’t even covered by the insurance, so we are not insured. They tried to settle quickly by offering 2000 euro for ALL MY GIRLFRIEND’S STUFF. How humiliating to have my girlfriend make a list of her belongings and find prices and receipts (most of which were in the truck of course) only to tell her it wasn’t even covered by insurance. They told us our washing machine was 10 years old when we bought it last year and undervalued everything else too. Do you realise how painful it is to lose everything you own only to have to go back and list everything and the price too?! And then find out they weren't even covered by their insurance or prepared to pay the price?!
In the end they paid barely over half the value, after we got a lawyer. These people will tell you that your belongings are safe with them, but in our experience they're not. Do yourself a favour and go to a different company.
