We had the best experience at 101, all of the midwifes are lovely, calm professional and understanding. You get all the information you need, you have support when you need and they really care about you as an individual and listen to what you would like for your birth. We were delighted with the care and brith experience we had. In addition the setting is lovely and welcoming and the receptionist is always friendly and happy to see you. We couldn’t have been happier with the service we received and are looking foreword to seeing the midwives when we go to weigh our baby girl. Thanks to everyone at 101! X

I had a pleasent experience with Verloskundigen 101. Everything went well during my pregnancy. All the midwifes are nice and caring. They followed closely the development of my pregnancy decpite being challanged by COVID-19 and having to adapt to the new normal. For the actual birth I choose to do in a hospital as personl preference, so I can't really say much about their performace on this matter, but I'm convinced they are excellent profesionals and can be fully trusted.

I had a great experience with the team at Verloskundigen 101. As a first time mom, they provided excellent care and guidance as I navigated my first pregnancy. I had a relatively easy pregnancy, but I had one late-night scare on Christmas. One of their midwives was at my door within the hour to guide us on what to do next and be a reassuring voice. While I had a hospital birth and can't speak to the homebirth experience with their team, their care up to the point of my delivery would suggest that I would have been in good hands!

Highly recommended for international couples who may not be familiar with the Dutch care system. The professional and kind people at 101 are extremely knowledgeable, empethatic and caring. My wife is not from the Netherlands and verloskundigen 101 made her feel comfortable and confident to deliver a baby in the Netherlands. Thanks a million.

The midwives of 101 are so great, it's almost enough to make you want to have another baby ;). Almost! I feel so extremely lucky that I found this practice. I initially chose 101 because of all of the helpful information on their website that was also available in perfect English (which was critical for me - to be able to speak English when delivering a baby!), and I'm so glad I did. From the start, there is a great vibe around the practice and the staff. Extremely professional, supportive and providing a comforting peacefulness that is an oasis in the nerves and anxiety around pregnancy. They are fantastic listeners and provide thoughtful, factual and helpful advice. They are good at setting realistic expectations for your experience and talk through all the different things on your mind. And of course where they really shine is when they help deliver your babies! After two incredible home birth experiences, I deeply appreciate their expertise and confidence, coaching me through the most intense and meaningful moments of my life in a way that made me feel empowered and safe. They provided clear guidance, listened to what I needed and communicated extremely well with me throughout the whole process. I felt in control of what was happening and well taken care of. The 2nd birth went so quickly that the kraamzorg was not there to help, but Jo-Anne handled everything so well on her own, without a lot of time, and I was amazed. Their follow-ups in the week after were also wonderful, answering any questions and providing a lot of support. I am forever grateful especially to Marliek, Jo-Anne and Olijf for showing me the incredible power and capability of women, bringing my two healthy happy boys into the world and giving me the life changing experience of natural home birth.

Merry Christmas! It's been 1 year and 7 months since I had my delivery with one of the midwives from this practice. I want to say a big big thank you to all midwives who monitored me during the pregnancy. Unfortunately I didnt have an easy time after delivery and baby came with some health issues which he did overcome in time as a champion. He is doing well now, physically healthy, still has few problems which we hope that we will be able to help him with. Once again, big thanks and I wish you all the best and keep being top. It was a great experience to be taken care of by Verloskundigen 101. Couldn't wait for each appointment, lovely midwives showed their interest, involvement in your pregnancy. All the questions and requests were handled professionally and in a timely manner. Unfortunately, in the end, I was given birth under the supervision of the hospital staff. Another reason to come back with the second pregnancy to this practice.

Having a baby outside of my home country would be tough, I thought. But it turned out to be the most incredible experience of my life, thanks to Verloskundigen 101 team. I had a miscarriage before and they were super helpful and thoughtful with this bad experience at the time, so I decided to continue with them after our second try. During all the prenatal period I felt they were a great source of support answering all our questions and offering the best service (extra ultrasounds, glucose, and blood tests). During the labor, Ira-Lisa was on call and she was super concerned with my choice of having an epidural. She made the effort to find a place according to all our requests at 4 am! She also stayed with us until the hospital team took over the responsibility, very calm and warm all the time. I have to say that postpartum period was above any of my expectations. I was super overwhelmed at the time without any family member around us and the team showed up (literally) to cheer us up, also very concerned about my mental health by checking how I was dealing with all the emotions at the moment. I am super happy and thankful I had chosen Verloskundigen 101 team to take care of my pregnancy. I highly recommend these experienced, powerful and thoughtful women to anyone that is looking for the best midwives in town! ❤️
