Good oysters!! Food is really good. Service is nice, just a bit slow when the place gets very busy.

Service is great and the place is outstanding! The food is good, but the vegan options are surprisingly limited both in variety and in creativity: whatever they have is a vegetarian dish and they just remove something (cheese, egg, whatever). They also don't have a way for you to take your leftovers. Very strange given the general organic/green vibe they show.

Awesome place to stay! We had a splendid room in Water Tower. Spacious room with high windows. Friendly staff. Special and yummy breakfast!

To come to Villa Augustus is always a treat. This is a modern Dutch experience which goes beyond being fashionable. From the edible gardens, the pebble paths to the book shop this venue caters for all. Entering the Restaurant coming from the ferry is a wonderful experience as well as by bike from the inner city. The well varied menu is great for lunches, and on both occasions service was speedily no matter the occupancy rate.

Everything is very expensive and I do have the feeling the hotel is portraying itself to be something it's definitely not. Cake was frozen, staff was kind but, untrained and forgot most of the order, and food is not fresh. I heard they serve canned food. To be honest, I think they might do so. The reason I rate this as low as I do, is because of the fake posh snobby vibe. It's a pretty place with empty soul. And those are the worst.

A fabulous building with a lot of additions and variation. Vintage / retro interior can be fun but I would prefer a bit more coherent style within one room. And the art is quite a random mix to match. The tiny unplugged TV was better left completely. Friendly yet not always as experienced staff. The restaurant was regrettably quite disappointing for dinner and breakfast. Both bland and or burnt flavors and a small portion size that leaves you hungry despite a premium price. I would love to recommend this stunning building located within walking distance from the city center. Yet if you do head out to the neighbors like kothinsky for your food. Would like to rate the restaurant separately yet its linked in one on here.

Hotel is lovely. Clean and tidy! Staff are very welcoming. I was a bit disappointed in the restaurant. Portion sizes were very small and waiting on staff that were dealing with our side of the restaurant weren’t very attentive….We left still hungry after a 3 course meal. Ended up going to the cinema over the water from the hotel to get some popcorn.! Room for improvement!
