Derek is a very good physio! Think along well, put you at ease and I was soon off my injury! Would definitely recommend him!

Hij onderzoekt de mogelijke oorzaken buiten (het gebrek aan) je beweging en legt op begrijpelijke wijze uit wat er aan de hand is, a.d.h.v. beelden of de ruggengraat op zijn bureau. Hij gaat niet voor een “quick-fix”, al loop ik meestal direct verlost van de pijn naar buiten, en geeft praktische en vooral passende oefeningen mee. Aanrader!
Derek has a holistic approach. He examines the possible causes outside (the lack of) your movement and explains in an understandable way what is going on, a.d.h.v. statues or the backbone on his desk. He does not go for a “quick-fix”, although I usually walk outside relieved of the pain, and gives practical and especially appropriate exercises. Recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got nerve damage from a dry needle session from one of the therapists. I used to go here frequently and found the manual therapy quite good but the therapist insisted dry needling was needed to fix a lower back issue I had. I had never done this before. After the session I was in excruciating pain. He claimed it was not because of the dry needling but a herniated disk. My GP did several tests and diagnosed otherwise. I spent several weeks bedridden and took me months to recover, as a result I got a frozen shoulder. I highly recommend NOT to do dry needling here. It’s not worth risking the months of debilitating pain if things go wrong
