About Waag
Restaurant-café in de Waag is uitermate geschikt voor besloten vergaderingen. Wij bieden verschillende unieke vergaderruimten in de historische binnenstad van Amsterdam. Deze vergaderruimten verschillen in grootte, maar hebben allen een warme klassieke doch moderne uitstraling en zijn uitgerust met moderne apparatuur. Dit maakt de waag tot een inspirerende vergaderlocatie!
Ook in de huidige 1,5 meter economie zijn onze vergaderruimtes geschikt voor groepen tot maximaal 14 personen. De ruimte beschikt over een eigen koffiecorner om de contact momenten met onze collega's zo min mogelijk te maken.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to visit when being a tourist in Amsterdam! The candles play a lot in the positive mark of this place. It is very nice to be surrounded by so many candles. Food and staff is very nice, the beer a little overpriced but OK overall.

The building is amazing.
They have good cheesecake.
The Chai latte was way too sweet, I asked hot water to dilute it.
Toilets are closed, they have temporary ones which was really nasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is beautiful, and with a pleasant atmosphere. The waiter was very nice and helpful and switched to Spanish when he heard us talking. The 3 stars are for the food, very expensive for the quality you receive. Also for the dirty toilets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sunday street market on the Nieuwmarkt square during Summer from May to the end of October. Any day De Waag, a medieval building, now a restaurant. Nice area in the centre of Amsterdam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful restaurant for dinner or a relaxing tea time. Great for a date night or with friends. The staff is super friendly and the food is delicious. They have a wide range of dishes and drinks. The deco is very cozy and the atmosphere is lovely. They even apologised for the inconvenience of only having one toilet.
