Mooie tegeltjeswijsheid die aansluit bij het hedendaagse "learning by doing" ("trial and error", of "fail fast"). Veel toegepast door bedrijven die opereren in een snel veranderende markt, bijvoorbeeld technische en online bedrijven.

Het moderne kunstwerk 'De Maawmuur' werd in 2012 gerealiseerd in de Tilburgse binnenstad. De muur bestaat uit letters die samen de tekst 'WIE GEEN FOUTEN MAAKT, MAAKT MEESTAL NIETS'. De grote letters staan symbool voor de 'harde klacht' ofwel kritiek van de burgers. Het woord 'MAAWEN' betekent in het Tilburgs dialect zoiets als 'zeuren/klagen'. De Maawmuur is gebaseerd op de klaagmuur in Jerusalem. Er is een brievenbus in verwerkt, waarin de Tilburgse burgers hun 'kritiek ofwel gemaaw' in kunnen posten. Aan de gemeente is het vervolgens om iets met deze kritiek te doen.

The modern artwork 'De Maawmuur' was realized in 2012 in the Tilburg city center. The wall consists of letters that together say 'ANYONE MAKES NO MISTAKES, MOSTLY MAKES NOTHING'. The large letters symbolize the 'hard complaint' or criticism of the citizens. The word 'MAAWEN' in the Tilburg dialect means something like 'whining / complaining'. The Maaw wall is based on the wailing wall in Jerusalem. It contains a letterbox, in which Tilburg citizens can post their 'criticism or gemaaw'. It is then up to the municipality to do something with this criticism.
