★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tsja, leuk om even uit de auto te komen en een loopje te doen. Wat niet helpt is dat het nogal aan het regenen is en dat alles door een weiland gaat. Ik rij er niet voor om maar als je er toch bent, leuk om de benen te strekken.
Well, nice to get out of the car and go for a walk. What doesn't help is that it's raining quite a bit and everything is going through a meadow. I don't drive for it, but while you're there, it's nice to stretch your legs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Niet echt heel bijzonder. Als je toch in de buurt bent en een uurtje wil wandelen dan kun je deze wandeling nemen. Ik raad aan deze wandeling niet met honden te doen. Op een deel van circa anderhalve kilometer staat aan weerszijden van het pad schrikkeldraad. Zelfs op ca. 30 a 40 cm hoogte zodat een hond er makkelijk per ongeluk tegenaan kan komen ondanks dat honden aangelijnd moeten blijven tijdens de wandeling.
Not really very special. If you are in the area and want to walk for an hour, you can take this walk. I recommend not doing this walk with dogs. On a part of approximately one and a half kilometers there is an electric fence on both sides of the path. Even at a height of about 30 to 40 cm so that a dog can easily accidentally bump into it, despite the fact that dogs must remain on a leash during the walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heel leuke ronde om te wandelen! Het is duidelijk aangegeven en alles bij elkaar een kilometer of 4 waardoor het voor vrijwel iedereen goed te doen is. Leuke uitzichten en fraaie huisjes onderweg. Mooi Nederland ?
Very nice round to walk! It is clearly marked and all together about 4 kilometers, making it easy for almost everyone to do. Nice views and beautiful houses along the way. Beautiful Netherlands ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mooi onderhouden wandelroute met geschiedenis... Retranchement was ooit een garnizoensvestiging welke uitgroeide tot een klein dorp. Tegen het belegeren in werd een wallenbescherming rondom voorzien welke momenteel een mooie wandelroute vormt. De moeite waard om bij het passeren van het dorp even te genieten van de landelijke natuur!
Well-maintained hiking trail with history... Retranchement was once a garrison settlement which grew into a small village. Against the besieging, a rampart protection was provided all around, which currently forms a beautiful walking route. Worthwhile to enjoy the rural nature when passing the village!
