★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Mookerheide is a lovely place to go for either a short or a long hike. If you look around you'll probably even see some Highland Cattle. There are some steep climbs so keep in mind that you have to be somewhat fit to enjoy walking here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It has a great landscape, and offers great views over tens of kilometers of land. It has a easily walkable route, and some benches next to the path.
I recommend to visit this place in the morning, like 7:30, it gives the most beautiful view and nature is waking up at that moment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful area to have some nice walks. The access is very easy, you can even access from right behind the Mook - Molenhoek train station.
You can walk in the woods or in more open areas. You also have mountain biking trails and trails to walk your dog.
The scenery is pretty with oak trees, chestnut trees ( during the season it's a great area to pick up chestnuts), you have heath bush and of course the famous cows with long hair ?.
The walks are between 30 mins to 1 hour 30.
