★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dit rijksmonument is de voormalige watertoren van de plateelfabriek Plazuid. Op deze woningbouwlocatie waren hiervan de panden gevestigd. De aardewerkfabriek maakte jarenlang toonaangevend aardewerk. Bekend als Gouds aardewerk. Overigens Plazuid is de afkorting van: Plateelbakkerij Zuid Holland. Een klein stukje verderop bevind zich aan de Turfsingel de voormalige kleischuur van deze fabriek. Ook een Rijksmonument.
 This national monument is the former water tower of the Plazuid pottery factory. The buildings were located at this housing location. The pottery factory made leading pottery for years. Known as Gouda pottery. Incidentally, Plazuid is the abbreviation of: Plateelbakkerij Zuid Holland. A little further on is the former clay shed of this factory on Turfsingel. Also a National Monument.
