β β β β β Great service and the vegetarian Sabich is amazing! (you can also make it vegan) The pita is on another level. A must try. Oh, and if you like truffle, they have an amazing artichoke truffle dip and truffle pecorino. It's my go to place for lunch, 'borrel' and healthy tasteful dinner if you don't have time to cook (or just don't feel like it).

β β β β β A must go in Amsterdam for foodies. They have set meals but you can create your own combinations. Ranging from pure meat lovers to completely vegan, from middle eastern to Italian inspired. Created with lots of flavors and love???

β β β β β You must visit this place!... The pastrami sandwich is so amazing! That is very soft and has the authentic taste. The staff are very kind and friendly. Also the selection of products on the shelf seems very good.

β β β β β I ate a pastrami sandwich and an appelbollen here, both delicious and worth every penny. The staff was very friendly as well - she opened a bottle of white wine for us, so we could enjoy a glass together with our meals. I highly recommend it.

β β β β β Their pastrami is from another universe. Unbelievably good. Not only good, insane and other superlatives would suit to describe it. The guys in the shop are super friendly, good products. All in all superb

β β β β β I got a pastrami sandwich and a sabich cos I make a rookie mistake of going out hungry and couldn't choose. I ate half of each one and the receptionist at my office caught me with my eyeballs half rolled back in food ecstasy in the kitchen. Was really good!! There was lots of pastrami and the pickles were sweet and sour, the little bit of cheese was salty, but not too much, and the sauce was pleasantly drippy and unctuous against the big fat slices of white toast. The sabich - was some next level eggplant falling apart softness amongst the crunchy salad-y bits in the sauce embraced by a loving generous pita. I'm not even an eggplant fan - but this was very yum. I can't afford to eat like this every day, but it was totally worth it... Sorry , no photos - I ate too fast. But I be back!!

β β β β β I had high hopes as the place seemed popular. The pastrami meat was tasty, but unfortunately overall a pretty disappointing sandwich. The bread felt stale and was served already half crumbled, while the amount of pastrami was stingey (I had multiple bites of only bread with no filling). For 8.5eur absolutely not worth it.

β β β β β Glad to have Wijmpjes in the neighborhood. Good selection of prepared foods and market items. I had the quiche with beet salad, enjoyed sitting upstairs to eat itβ nice spot to watch the street. The Eat Real Chilli & Lemon Lentil chips are also delicious. Thanks for the lekker food and vibes.
