About Witte Molen
The windmill of Meeuwen, ever present on the company grounds until it was relocated to the spot it occupies today, is a fitting symbol for the company Witte Molen. Once, in its golden age, an important commercial node in the Dutch town of Meeuwen, nourishing its inhabitants with locally ground flour and exotic foodstuffs.
Then, over time, losing most of its luster as it lost out to more modern alternatives, ending up in tatters...
But then relocated and restored to its former glory by a group of enthusiastic people who refused to give up on the mill.
Thanks to the hard work and craftsmanship of these tenacious folks, the windmill is pearly white again today. And ready for the future.

In full operation and well maintained, the attendant is super cordial and friendly, the mustard and jam they sell are delicious, it is worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leuk om op zaterdag te bezoeken. Dan is er een vrijwilliger van een club molenliefhebbers die de molen in werking zet. De molen is prachtig opgeknapt/onderhouden. Zeker een bezoekje waard dus. Ook voor kinderen leuk.
Nice to visit on Saturday. Then there is a volunteer from a group of mill enthusiasts who put the mill into operation. The mill has been beautifully refurbished / maintained. So definitely worth a visit. Also fun for children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zeer leuk! Hele mooie molen. Wanneer deze open is mag je binnen kijken. Erg leuk wanneer de wieken draaien om het mechanisme te kunnen zien. Ze verkopen hier tevens verschillende soorten meel. Ook staat er een gerenoveerde noodwoning van uit de oorlog. Hier mag je ook binnen kijken. Erg boeiend allemaal! Vriendelijke vrijwilligers die er werkzaam zijn.
Very nice! Very nice windmill. When it is open you can look inside. Very nice when the blades rotate to see the mechanism. They also sell different types of flour here. There is also a renovated emergency home from the war. You can also look inside here. All very interesting! Friendly volunteers who work there.

Stopped here by chance, we were allowed to have a look inside. We bought flour, bake a nice cake at home
