★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mindestens an Samstagen wird rund um die Ruiinekerk in Bergen ein Wochenmarkt abgehalten. (evtl. auch noch an einem anderen Wochentag ?)
Angeboten werden u.a. Kleidung, Artikel für das Haustier, Brot, Blumen und Käse (natürlich !).
Gerade der Käse-Verkaufsstand verdient besondere Erwähnung; denn das Angebot ist vielfältig und man kann alle Käsesorten probieren. Auf den ausgestellten ganzen Käselaiben sind Käsewürfel aufgehäuft, die man im Vorbeigehen probieren kann.
Ergänzt wird der Wochenmarkt durch umliegende Geschäfte, Cafés und Restaurants, sowie eine sehr interessante Kirche.
A weekly market is held around the Ruiinekerk in Bergen at least on Saturdays. (possibly also on another day of the week?)
Items on offer include clothing, items for pets, bread, flowers and cheese (of course!).
The cheese sales stand in particular deserves a special mention; because the offer is varied and you can try all types of cheese. Cheese cubes are piled on the whole cheese loaves on display and can be tasted as you pass by.
The weekly market is complemented by the surrounding shops, cafés and restaurants, as well as a very interesting church.
