★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Damn have read about this place a long time ago but been here for the first time just recently. After my favorite wok place lombok in the halvemaansteeg near rembrandtplein closed shops I set out to find the best wok place in Amsterdam. I got to say this is as close I got so far. Simple menu's though I feel they should add some additional ingredients like fryed onion, pineapple, egg. But what they have is simple but simply amazing. Fresh ingredients, great sauce and absolute good taste I can't describe it any other way. Don't believe me? Go and take a look for yourself. They do takeaway but have large dining area where you can sit and enjoy your meal in piece. The staff is not very talkative but super friendly. There is some room for improvement like the ingredients suggested, allowing to mix several sauces together to add new dimensions to your dish (this is not allowed right now or you have to say pretty please) and using less time to let your wok ingredients boil and more time stir frying. But even without these notes they are still miles (kilometers) ahead of the competition (it ain't even a race no more). Go check it out for yourself and be amazed.
