β β β β β Very relaxed, friendly service. It is busy! At least it was on Friday night. Cocktails are good, food is tasty! We took shared menu, it was enough!

β β β β β Amazing hostess, very professional and friendly lady. The food was amazing, best spareribs ever and the chickensate was different but really good aswell. The room was nice and clean.
Had a great stay, definitely recommend this place and we will be back!

β β β β β Small boutique hotel above a bar. Noise was not a problem and there was a separate entrance The only challenge the steep high Dutch stairs. Fortunately younger and fitter staff carried my bag! βΊοΈ Room was nicely fitted out and with tea and coffee. No place to work due to space constraints. Didn't try breakfast or dinner due to the abundance of choice in the immediate vicinity

β β β β β We went here for a drink before dinner and were very pleasantly surprised by the variety of tasty vegan bar snacks on offer -- why don't more places have vegan vlammetjes?! -- and we enjoyed what we had so much we came back the next day for lunch. The staff was friendly and helpful.

β β β β β Located very central, right in the old historic center of Alkmaar. With lots of little shops, restaurants and cafΓ©'s within 5 min. walking distance. The small hotel is one of the historic old houses itself. All rooms are quite different from eachother and you might hear some noise from adjacent rooms.

β β β β β We went here on a Friday evening for a diner for two. First of all: we had a great time. The atmosphere in the restaurant and also in the area is simply wonderful. From a menu point of view: there are plenty vegetarian options, and that is great. MenekΕe chose the Risotto and was very enthusiastic. I took the Tournedos which was nice dressed up with βgepofteβ groenten. Definitely a must go when you are in Alkmaar. RenΓ© and MenekΕe

β β β β β Amazing place! Extremely friendly and accommodating staff, they will cater to special demands as much as possible and the food is always very very good. Everything seems to be homemade and the fish is perfectly cooked. The location is really nice and cozy, just in front of the canal in the center of Alkmaar, close to the church.
The atmosphere is nice and chill also even just for drinks, as the place closes late. Dinner is served until 9pm more or less.
If there is one place to go in Alkmaar I would strongly suggest this one!
