★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prachtige wandeling in elk jaargetijde! Nu, begin september bloeit de heide en de vlierbessen hangen er uitbundig bij. De paddestoelen vliegen uit de grond...na een regenbui wordt het pad wel blubberig.
 Beautiful walk in every season! Now, at the beginning of September, the heather is blooming and the elderberries are hanging profusely. The mushrooms are flying out of the ground ... after a rain shower the path becomes muddy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leuke route. Vandaag waren alle plassen en modderpoelen bevroren, maar anders is het wel een natte boel.
Nice trail. Today all puddles and mud puddles were frozen, but otherwise it is a wet lot.

Beautiful route for walking and following the wolf trail. Only now a lot of mud, so wait until the weather gets better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Een mooie wandelroute. Zeer gevarieerd, eerste stuk kan heel drassig zijn...niet geschikt voor witte Gympen. Heide, bijzondere bossen, grazers en loopbruggen.
A beautiful walking route. Very varied, first part can be very soggy...not suitable for white sneakers. Heathland, special forests, grazers and footbridges.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wat een buitengewoon sprookjesachtig prachtige wandeling hebben we vandaag gemaakt langs het wolvenspoor, door het betoverende bos en de weide tussen de gallowayrunderen die aan het grazen waren. Wat een cadeautje om die te mogen doen tijdens deze Lock Down! En omdat alles bevroren was konden ze zo over alle modderplassen heen banjeren ;) Alsnog verstandig om stevige warme schoenen aan het trekken!
What an extraordinarily enchantingly beautiful walk we took today along the wolf track, through the enchanting forest and meadow between the galloway cattle that were grazing. What a gift to be able to do it during this Lock Down! And because everything was frozen, they could easily run over all the mud puddles ;) Still wise to put on sturdy warm shoes!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly varied and somewhat exciting forest trail of some 5 kilometers, a nice length. Useful car park at the trailhead. Features several boardwalks over marshy areas. In the wet season a few more boardwalks might be a good idea because it is not hard to get wet feet. Best to wear boots actually.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazon walk that feels very authentic. It is not a build path but more of a route through nature. This makes it feel very close to nature itself. It can be (very) wet at parts, so have good boots or wait for dry moments. One of the nicer walks with a lot of variation.
