Ytje Veenstra studied illustration and has worked for a variety of clients, locally, nationally and internationally. Her elaborate and vibrantly coloured works are research-based and sprinkled throughout with pop cultural references. Being observant in everyday life provides her with a vast visual library.
Her focus is on working in Photoshop and drawing in VR (virtual Reality). No matter the medium, her own signature styler always shines through.
Apart from drawing, she has also proven herself as an organisational talent. In 2016 she began working as a freelance project coordinator at Nieuwe Vide Artspace, Haarlem. In 2018, when the director left his position as director at Nieuwe Vide , she stepped up as director in the interim.
