★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ALDI of Chinese medicine. Very little consultation and general advice and treatment. Also - heat lamps a bit of a gimmick. Tried to be flashy when I just needed personal care. ..
When I arrived I was told that the practitioner was only visiting that day. I said that I was expecting consultation and ongoing care with the same practitioner - I was assured that all information would be transferred and the care would be consistent. The practitioner then asked me to describe what was wrong. Nothing was wrong - I use acupuncture to maintain my health. Because I have had a lot of treatment previously I was able to guide him on what I needed. After the treatment (including some terrible heat lamps) I saw the Chinese herbalist and another acupuncturist. I felt as though they were giving me a generic diagnosis and providing overpriced herbs. The entire consultation was condescending and mildly unprofessional.
This is probably fine if you want a quick general treatment. I do not advise you visit if you want wholistic care.
